Connection systems
Omega Audio Concepts‘ research began with the connection system, an essential element of a high-performance system whose role is to convey information. The conductors can be compared to the veins of the body: just as the veins supply the human body and without which there would be no life, the connection system has the function of powering and communicating the entire musical reproduction system and conveying the as much information as possible.
Each Omega Audio Concepts connection system is made according to the fundamental scientific principles that characterize our production. The Omega Audio Concepts connection systems are available in five levels and are distinguished by the materials used, section and winding of the conductors, overall size and quantity of insulation, therefore the construction complexity grows hand in hand with the performance level.
All connection systems are available in red and black and are made completely by hand in Italy starting from the single conductor.
All the lines of the Omega Audio Concepts connection system are patented and have the following connection types:
- AC Power – power cable
- Signal RCA – RCA signal cable
- Signal XLR – balanced XLR cable
- Phono – phono cable
- Digital RCA – digital RCA cable
- Digital XLR – XLR balanced digital cable
- Speaker – speaker cable
ESSENZIALE PLUS
The ESSENTIALE PLUS connection system is the gateway to the ELEMENT world, where manageability and ease of use are placed at the centre.
DNA
The second level connection system is called DNA as it contains all the fundamental concepts of our patent.
NANO EXTRA
In the third level, called NANO EXTRA, in addition to the fundamental concepts of our patent, the conductors are in silvered copper.
MICRO EXTRA
The MICRO EXTRA connection system which represents our fourth level has silver-plated copper conductors and a greater number of shielding.
THE ELEMENT
THE ELEMENT is our connection system that has reference performance thanks to the use of pure silver conductors and a high number of shielding.
ESTREMO
ESTREMO represents the culmination of our research into connection systems. To turn it into reality we have adopted extreme solutions with the sole aim of creating a non plus ultra product.
